Have you experienced just to sit and listen to yourself ? Can you hear some sort of whispering inside your head? What are they telling you? Is it benefits you? Does it makes you even more confused?Or both? Let’s identify these low tones ringing in your thoughts.
Say, you are in an fight with a close friend of yours. In the middle of the heat, you have alleged offending words to him and he has thrown same on you. After the argument, when everything is in its cool, you can’t get rid of the disagreement you had. It keeps on buzzing in your head and you can no longer ignore it. And so you were in your deep thoughts. As you sit and reflect, you heard voices in your head saying “..what’s done is done. You hurt him, he hurt you. Just let it go.. just let it be the way it happened. Just forget the memory and live on..move on”. Then in the midst of silence there is another voice saying “ what’s done is done, you both hurt each other. But even though he busted on you,you still owe him an apology. Go and talk to him. You may not be able to undo and delete the hurt from the incident but you can make it right. Just go to him and talk..”
So, can you differentiate now the voices? Hmmmmmm let’s call the first voice as the noisy and the latter the quiet voice. For now, let’s focus more on our quiet voice.
In every difficult situation we are into, usually we hold our to our spiritual belief, especially to GOd. Yes, it is very powerful. But it would be more powerful if we also hold on to our self. Going into the deepest part of our heart, there we can find all the answers of our emotions. Who do we find there?..the quiet voice or the voice of our soul. When we can turn on that voice, then we won’t be terrified or anxious to face every problem especially when it often disturbs the flow of calmness of our mind.
The quiet voice will guide us to the bright path where ultimate happiness awaits. There will be times that we believe it is so hard to do what the voice is telling us to do. But we need to trust that voice coz it’s the same thing as trusting our self. He knows what’s best for us. He knows what are the rightful actions and decisions and he will encourage us that we can really choose the right choice. We just need to listen deep and then we will be on our full potential with soaring self-esteem.
I will be sharing you more on the quiet voice inside us on my next post. Masalam =D
Agree! Let's focus on the True Quite Voice!
